Shalu Joseph, MD

Dr. Shalu Joseph joins the pediatric team at BCHC after completing her Pediatric residency at the State University of New York,  Health Science Center in Brooklyn, NY. Prior to this, she worked as a general practitioner for 2 years in southern part of India. Dr. Joseph received her medical education, as well as hands on experience in various medical specialties, at the  Government T.D. Medical College, Alappuzha, Kerala, India. Dr. Joseph has done extensive research at the SUNY Downstate Medical Center on subjects including diabetes and obesity in children. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Joseph is a highly skilled medical provider with multicultural experience and a deep compassion for the children she works with.
