The Public Health Dental Hygienist is a registered professional that provides quality dental care and associated services to patients without the authorization, assignment or examination by a Dentist. Performs the dental hygiene services and procedures permitted by the scope of practice as outlined in Pennsylvania Code33.205b.(a) Integrates quality improvement and cost-effective methods of providing care. Participates actively in BCHC’s mission to provide exceptional patient-centered primary and preventive healthcare for all residents of Berks County, regardless of economic status.
