Announcement of Three Promotions

Berks Community Health Center (BCHC) is proud to announce the promotion of three employees to new roles.

Adalbys and Aigza

Adalbys Ventura has been promoted to Community Outreach Manager, overseeing BCHC’s Community Outreach team. She started with BCHC as a Community Outreach Specialist in 2019 and has played a vital role in reaching out to community members about BCHC services as well as helping patients sign up for insurance through Pennie, the official health insurance marketplace of Pennsylvania. Adalbys was recently recognized with the Coverage Champion Award from the Pennsylvania Association of Community Health Centers (PACHC) for her fantastic work in helping patients sign up for insurance coverage.

Aigza Medina started at BCHC in 2020 as a front desk greeter and quickly endeared herself to both colleagues and patients. As the greeter, hers was the first face people would see as they came through the doors. Aigza received The Patient Choice Award from PACHC this year, recognizing her commitment to patients. Her new role is Patient Service Representative (PSR) supervisor at BCHC’s 838 Penn St. and 1040 Liggett Ave. locations.

Liliana

Liliana Urueta has been promoted to Clinical Nurse Manager at BCHC’s 838 Penn St. location where she oversees our team of nurses and medical assistants. She has been with BCHC since 2016, working as a Nurse Care Coordinator. Liliana has demonstrated a solid work ethic and a deep care for patients that has prepared her well for this new leadership position.

Each of these three women exemplify BCHC’s mission to improve the access and health of our community through delivering comprehensive services for all residents of Berks County regardless of economic status. Our patients, staff and the community will benefit from the dedication and growth of each of these highly skilled professionals.
