Jiyoung Kim is a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner at Berks Community Health Center, dedicated to providing compassionate, culturally responsive primary care to individuals and families in the community. She became a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) in 2023 and brings a strong foundation in both advanced clinical practice and nursing education.
Jiyoung earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Korea University in 2003. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing in 2022 and Post-MSN Nurse Educator Certificate in 2026 at Moravian University in Bethlehem, PA, where she is currently completing her Doctor of Nursing Practice. Her doctoral work focuses on improving diabetes outcomes among immigrant adults through culturally tailored health education, reflecting her commitment to advancing health equity and supporting community.
Jiyoung’s clinical background spans ICU nursing, internal medicine, wound care, chronic diseases management, preventive care, and community‑based primary care. She also serves as an adjunct nursing instructor, where she enjoys mentoring future nurses through active, hands‑on learning. Outside of her clinical and academic roles, Jiyoung enjoys exploring local parks, participating in community wellness initiatives, and spending time with her family.
