Berks Community Health Center (BCHC) is expanding services at our Rockland location with the hiring of two new providers.

Amanda Hafer, Clinical Pharmacist, received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Wilkes University in 2015. Following graduation, Dr. Hafter pursued a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at St. Luke’s University Health Network in Bethlehem, PA. Prior to coming to BCHC, Dr. Hafer worked as a clinical consultant pharmacist for skilled nursing facilities for five years and has further experience working in both retail and long-term care pharmacies.  Dr. Hafer will assist the clinical providers in medication management for many of BCHC’s patients who suffer from chronic conditions.

Nina Glover, CRNP, joins our team of nurse practitioners at Rockland. Nina is a new nurse practitioner from Philadelphia, PA. She obtained her education from East Stroudsburg University and Chamberlain University. With almost 20 years of experience in public health and 14 years in nursing, Nina’s expertise encompasses nutrition education, psych nursing, quality assurance in healthcare insurance, case management, and urgent care. Her dedication to patient well-being and extensive background makes her a valuable asset to healthcare teams.

Dr, Karen Wang, BCHC’s Chief Medical Officer, said, “It is important for us to add new providers to our team as this enables us to continue to increase access to care. Nina and Amanda each bring unique gifts and talents that will help us care for more patients and improve the health of our community.”
