Walk-In Sick Visits at BCHC’s Oakbrook Location

BCHC offers walk-in sick visits for children ages 5 and older and adults who are current patients of BCHC. Patients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis during walk-in hours.

Walk-In Sick Visit Hours at Oakbrook, 1040 Liggett Avenue, Reading

  • Mondays and Thursdays 9 AM – 2 PM
  • Fridays 10AM – 1PM

Walk-In Sick Visits Are Available For:

  • Cold, flu, or COVID-19 symptoms
  • Fever
  • Sore throat
  • Ear pain
  • Cough
  • Minor sprains or strains
  • Minor cuts or burns
  • Rashes or allergic reactions
  • Vomiting or diarrhea
  • Other minor illnesses or injuries
  • School/sports physicals that are urgently needed

Please Note:

  • Walk-in visits are for same-day sick care only for current BCHC patients.
  • Routine checkups, annual physicals, medication refills, chronic condition follow-up visits, Psychiatric care and other non-urgent care require a scheduled appointment.
  • If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
  • Walk-in patients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis. Capacity is limited, and we may stop accepting walk-in patients once we have reached the maximum number we can safely see.

Affordable Care for Everyone

BCHC accepts most major insurance plans, Medicaid, and Medicare. If you do not have insurance, you may qualify for our Sliding Fee Discount Program based on your household income. Our team can help you determine if you are eligible.
