Omayra Tavarez is moving into the newly created role of Patient Access Manager. In this role Omayra will lead the Patient Service Representative (PSR) team, working closely with PSR Supervisors at each of BCHC’s three locations. She will also monitor processes related to patient access, scheduling, registration, and other assigned processes across the care continuum to ensure a high-value service is provided to our patients and stakeholders. Omayra was hired in 2017 as a PSR before being promoted to the role of PSR Supervisor at BCHC’s Rockland location.
Rosaleiny Guzman, hired in 2022 as a PSR, is being promoted to fill the role of PSR Supervisor that had been held by Omayra Tavarez. In her new role, she will assure that front office operations function smoothly, and a high degree of patient satisfaction is achieved. BCHC’s PSR team welcome and register patients, schedule appointments, collect payment and provide other administrative support.
